In 1867, Canadian inventor Henry Seth Taylor unveiled a steam-powered vehicle—a bold innovation that marked the birth of Canada’s first horseless carriage. Designed by modifying a traditional horse-drawn carriage, Taylor's steam buggy was a remarkable engineering feat for its time. Though he traveled extensively through Quebec with his creation, Taylor's pioneering efforts went largely uncelebrated during his lifetime.
