Each coin features a ring of all 12 animals from the Lunar calendar — Rat, Ox, Tiger, Rabbit, Dragon, Snake, Horse, Sheep, Monkey, Rooster, Dog, and Pig — arranged in a circular pattern along the edge. A different animal takes center stage each year, highlighted in a detailed central cameo.
