The Royal Canadian Mint, in collaboration with the Canadian Museum of Nature, proudly presents the third release in its thrilling Dinosaur Exhibit coin series. This special collection celebrates the Museum’s 100th anniversary and highlights its role as Canada’s premier institution for natural sciences and natural history.
This coin features Sinosauropteryx, a remarkable carnivorous dinosaur showcased in the Talisman Energy Fossil Gallery. Thanks to lenticular technology, the dinosaur appears to leap into motion when the coin is tilted. It comes packaged in a colourful, dinosaur-themed folder along with six engaging trading cards—an ideal keepsake for dinosaur fans and collectors.
