The coin’s reverse showcases a richly detailed tribute to one of Star Trek’s iconic figures, blending precision engraving with selective color to striking effect. On the left, Communications Officer Nyota Uhura—portrayed by the legendary Nichelle Nichols—appears in vivid red uniform, holding the tricorder, a multifunctional tool used for scanning and analyzing data.
