featured in this natural portrait. Attached to the twig by its petiole, each sugar maple leaf seemingly reaches for the opposite side of the coin while revealing the deeply etched veins that run through
their palmate lobes, towards the pointed tips. The maple twig also bears three u-shaped, doublewinged fruits that extend from slender stalks.
