1. Do you Buy?

Call and book an appointment at 780-444-1156 with Jack to see if we are interested in your items. 

NOTE: We no longer purchase stamp collections.

1a. Can I Get an Appraisal?

A: Whether you inherit a coin collection, are looking to make something of some seldom-worn jewelry, West Edmonton Coin & Stamp can help you with that. Our appraisers have years of experience and are willing to help you out.

If you are looking for an general estimate of the worth of your items, simply call to set up a time and we provide the service free of charge.

Alternatively, if you require a professional appraisal for legal purposes, we provide it at a fee of $40 an hour for a minimum of 2 hours.

2. What is the Exchange Policy?

You may exchange items within 7 days. 

We'll pay the return shipping costs if the exchange is a result of our error (you received an incorrect or defective item, etc.).

You should expect to receive your store credit within 3 days of us receiving the item(s).

If you need to exchange an item, simply login to your account, view the order using the "Complete Orders" link under the My Account menu and click the Return Item(s) button. We'll notify you via e-mail of your credit once we've received and processed the exchanged item.

3. What are the Shipping Costs?

When you place an order, we will estimate shipping and delivery dates for you based on the availability of your items and the shipping options you choose. Depending on the shipping option you choose, shipping date estimates may appear on the shipping quotes page.

3. How Do I Pay?

Please send your payment within 3 business after you have committed to placing an order.

Our safe and secure payment methods include:

Credit Card

Credit card orders must be shipped to the verifiable billing name and address as it appears on the cardholder’s statement.

If the verifiable information provided does not match the credentials of the credit card being processed your payment will be declined and your order will be delayed as we require verified information.

If you do not wish to release your credit card information online you may provide it to us telephone, fax, or regular mail

PayPal

We accept PayPal payments that are eligible for seller protection. Orders that have Ineligible or Partially Eligible payments will be delayed and may result in a refund.

Interac Email Money Transfer

Upon Check out select Interact E-Transfer. Ensure that your bank supports e-Transfers.

After committing to your order login to your online banking. In your online baking find the link to send and interac e-Transfer. Please send your e-Transfer to the following email address: westedmontoncoinandstamp@gmail.com. Use “The payment password” as your security question and enter “paywecs” for the password. Make your payment for the grand total in Canadian funds (limit to $1000 per day). If you reach your bank’s transfer limit, increase your limit, send multiple payments or use a different payment type.

Taxes are based on the ship to address of your order

Taxes in Canada:

  • 5% GST (YT, NU, NT, AB)
  • 5% GST and 7% PST (BC,MB)
  • 5% GST and 6% PST (SK)
  • 13% HST (ON, NB, NL)
  • 15% HST (NS)
  • 14% HST (PE)
  • 5% GST and 9.975% QST (QC)

Orders outside of Canada will have no taxes applied

We collect and refund ALL online payments in Canadian dollars (CAD). When a refund is issued to a card using another currency, your bank will convert it from Canadian dollars for you. We are not involved in this exchange process. IMPORT FEES ARE THE RESPONSIBILTY OF THE BUYER.
